My Story
Hi! I'm Baylie!
I'm just your friendly neighborhood mom from Cheney, Washington that LOVES to create! I began Hands & Hearts Sensory Play as a way to help young kiddos develop fine motor skills, dexterity, and muscle tone through play but over time, I have come to see that there are far more benefits to sensory play than just the hands, but for the heart. My kits have been used to help children who have suffered with trauma and abuse, as a therapeutic tool for children with Autism, and personally, as a mom to a child with sensory-processing needs, sensory play is a necessary part of our daily routine for regulating the nervous system.
Starting this, I did not know that the name Hands & Hearts Sensory Play would carry so much meaning, but delving into the world of sensory play has opened my eyes to how wonderful and necessary it is to so many precious human lives.
